Michael Brdley Architecture (MBA) was founded in London in 2002.

After completing several projects in London and Shell’s on shore Research Headquarters in The Netherlands the practice relocated to Shanghai in 2004 to support Atkins on the design and delivery of Thames Town, a satellite town of Shanghai.

Since 2004 the practice has completed over 100 successful projects across China.

The practice merged with Group GSA in 2013 and demerged in 2016 and rebranded as Michael Bradley Architecture Asia (MBAA) to reflect the strategic decision to service projects across the Asian Region.

MBAA has recently successfully delivered projects in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Korea, Myanmar and China.

The practice is currently headquartered in Shanghai.
